Table of Contents

We all know how easy it can be to get sidetracked by the flashy and exciting promises of overnight success. You’ve seen the ads, “Make 10K in 10 days with your Facebook page.” But there is more to building a successful and profitable business than meets the eye. In order to achieve success, you must have an infrastructure in place that will help you manage leads, automate growth, and make money.

Building a successful business requires more than just a great product or service. You need the right infrastructure in place to manage incoming leads and automate growth so you can maximize your profits. But what exactly should be included in this essential infrastructure? Read on to find out!

When building a business we can easily get sidetracked by all of the courses that teach “How to Make $10k in 10 days from your Facebook page.”

But here’s the thing that they don’t tell you: an infrastructure needs to be in place first to easily manage an influx of leads so you can automate growth and make money.

The infrastructure must include:

  • A solid offer that you’re excited to share.

  • A lead magnet to grow your email list.

  • An email marketing system to automate the nurture sequence for your new leads.

  • If you have a FB group, a system to automate member approval and welcome DMs.

  • A platform to host your offer or schedule your coaching calls.

  • For coaches, legal contracts are in place to protect themselves.

  • To scale with upsells, downsells, affiliate marketers, and joint venture partners, then using a sales funnel system is needed.

Let's cover this more in-depth!

Solid Offerings

The foundation of any successful business is a solid offering that you are excited to share with potential customers. It could be a physical product, digital download, or even a coaching package—just make sure it’s something that you believe in and can stand behind. Having an offering that you are proud of will help ensure success in the long run.

Lead Magnets

Having lead magnets (or opt-ins) on your website is essential for growing your email list and keeping potential customers engaged with your brand. Lead magnets come in many forms such as e-books, checklists, webinars, and more—all designed to entice visitors to sign up for your email list so they can receive valuable content from you. I personally love a fun, interactive quiz!

Email Marketing System

Once someone has opted into your email list, it’s important to have an email marketing system set up so you can automate the nurture sequence for your new leads. This includes setting up automated emails with relevant content that will keep them engaged and interested in what you have to offer. It’s also important to include calls-to-action throughout these emails so they know how and when they can purchase from you or take advantage of any other offerings available.

Platforms & Legal Contracts

Having platforms like Thrivecart or MemberVault can really help streamline the process of getting leads through the funnel efficiently and effectively as well as make sure everything looks professional when customers land on your page or join one of your programs. And if you're offering coaching services as well as digital products then it's important not only to protect yourself but also to gain trustworthiness by having legal contracts drawn up specifically for each program so everyone knows where they stand with expectations around refunds, cancellations, etc.

Also, consider systems such as automation software (like Zapier) for approving members into FB groups or sending out welcome DMs automatically - this way everything can happen without any extra effort from yourself which is always handy!

Let’s break down the process of creating a solid business structure.

  1. Choose an offer that both you’re excited about and that has a market demand. If you’re unsure of where to start or what your zone of genius is, then book a Prosperity Sequence reading with me. Based on your Human Design, you’ll see what strengths and talents are easily monetizable. Book your reading here.

  2. Now that you know your offer, decide how you’ll deliver your offer. If your offer is a membership or course, check out Thrivecart or Membervault. (Thrivecart has many features to help scale your business with automation. I’ll cover that in a bit.) If your offer is coaching, check out Paperbell to automate appointment scheduling and follow-up emails. Plus they’ll automatically deliver your coaching contract and other resources required for your coach/client relationship.

  3. Write up your coaching contract or any other legal documents needed to protect yourself and your business. Check out Plug and Law for templates.

  4. Set up your sales funnel in Thrivecart. Be sure to include an upsell that people can easily add to their cart at a special price and a downsell in case they didn’t want that upsell but did want your downsell offer. If you need help writing the sales page, check out the Sales Page in a Day resource.

  5. Create a lead magnet! I love how a quiz is interactive and helps you better understand the people coming into your funnel. I use TryInteract to host my quiz.

  6. Once you know your offer and lead magnet, you’ll want to nurture these new leads using email marketing. I love Flodesk because it’s simple to use.

  7. If you have a Facebook group, use Group Funnels to automate email collection that you can Zap over to Flodesk. (Zapier will connect the two platforms so that when you collect an email using Group Funnels it will send the information to a spreadsheet and then feed that contact information to Flodesk which will send out an email to your new FB member.)

  8. Also for Facebook groups, check out elMessenger Pro to send out an automated welcome DM to members. You can then follow up with a personal message after they’ve replied to your initial welcome message.

  9. Lastly, you’ll want to promote your lead magnet to fill your funnel. Create content to post on your favorite platforms and drive traffic to your lead magnet.

These are just some of the elements necessary for building a successful business. While it may seem daunting at first glance, having all of these pieces in place will save time, energy, and money in the long run because it sets up systems that can be automated so that you have more time to focus on actually running your business instead of being bogged down with mundane tasks or manual processes.

If this all sounds overwhelming, I got you! When you sign up for Thrivecart and at least one of the other resources I mentioned using my affiliate links, I’ll gift you your choice of 1.) a 60-min strategy call or 2.) 3 days of Voxer support to ask tech questions.

It’s time to set up your 6-figure Business!
